 How will I know when the puppies are born?

Keep checking our web site. After the puppies are born, We will update the website
with sex and color information for each puppy.

Are there any requirements we would need to meet?

Since beagles have been described as a 'Nose with feet' you MUST have a fenced yard
This does NOT mean Beagles will run away BUT that they will follow a scent WHEREVER it leads

 Is there a deposit and how much is it?  

Yes, a $100.00 deposit is required to hold a puppy or before we will drive to deliver a puppy to you.

 When should I send the deposit?  

If you decide you want one of the puppies, email us and ask for more information
If you decide to buy a puppy ask for our address and mail the deposit
We accept Postal Money Orders, Personal Checks, VISA, MasterCard, & American Express

We DO NOT accept deposits until puppies are born!

First deposit received has first choice of puppy, second deposit received has second choice of puppy, etc.  

 What happens with the deposit when I buy the puppy?

  Your deposit is deducted from the total amount due for the puppy.

 What happens with the deposit if I decide I do NOT want the puppy?

If there are still puppies available for sale, your deposit will be refunded.

If all of the puppies are sold, then you forfeit the deposit.   I have held the puppy for YOU and this covers my additional expenses for care, shots, additional advertising, etc.

 What happens to a full payment if I decide I do NOT want the puppy?

If there are still puppies available for sale, I will refund your payment, minus any expenses incurred in preparation for shipping.

If all of the puppies are sold, then the deposit amount plus expenses for additional care, shots, advertising and any difference in sale price is deducted from the full payment prior to refund.

   What are the payment terms?

In person, CASH, unless paid IN FULL with VISA, MasterCard & American Express, which MUST be processed and cleared prior to delivery (requires 2 business days)
Postal Money Orders and personal checks must be mailed and will be cashed prior to delivery.  
Personal checks have a 14 day waiting period prior to delivery.

How old do puppies have to be
before we can pick them up or have them shipped?

Puppies have to be 8 weeks old before I let them leave
All puppies will have been wormed at least 3 times and they will have had their 1st set of shots
This allows me to make sure they do NOT have any reaction to the shots.

How are puppies delivered?

If you live between Sacramento, California and Portland, Oregon
We MAY meet you halfway (on I-5 or Highway 101) to deliver your puppy
Deposit is required, with the balance due paid in CASH ONLY!
Or full payment with VISA, MasterCard, or American Express prior to delivery
Transportation fees may be required.

Or, I will check with the airlines about shipping the puppy to an airport near you
The buyer pays all fees, to include, but not limited to:
Health Certificates,  addition immunizations, crates, and airline shipping fees

Alaska Airlines /  Horizon has discontinued flights from North Bend, Oregon. 

To ship a puppy by air requires travel to either Eugene airport (200 miles, 3+ hours) or
Portland airport (480 miles, 8+ hours).

Additional shipping fees for this service is $50 for Eugene or $100 for Portland.

Are we in any Breeder's Directories or Classified Listings?

Probably NOT!

We feel that our record of showing champion BEAGLES, the quality of our puppies, the guarantee we provide on each puppy we sell, and our honesty & integrity is better that paying someone to be in their directory or on their list.

We may be listed, if the directory has made their own list (and they bug you to join their list for a fee)
OR they have a free listing, but for most directories or classified listing you have to be a member and
Pay dues or pay a fee
to be listed and they do NOT make any recommendations or guarantees

The  AKC Breeders Classifieds  has an introductory rate of $35.00 for 60 days and the AKC has this disclaimer
"While the AKC does not endorse or recommend specific breeders, we do offer several resources to locate breeders."

For the National Beagle Club, you have to be a member ($30 a year) to be listed, and they have this disclaimer
"This does not in any way reflect the NBC guarantee or endorsement of their dogs, their kennel or their business practices. "

Most are a "For Profit" service provided by the creators of the directory or list
