Bentley has won our hearts, he is just adorable, smart, fun loving and is just  funny as he can be with his toys. Its been really hot here this weekend he goes outside only to tee tee and poopie, he has caught on real well to receive a treat after he uses the bathroom. We let him know he is a good boy and he comes and sniffs the treat in our hands, he knows he gets it when he does his business. His first night we were pretty much up with him, He did sleep in the bed with us ,when he woke up he was in the best little mood (happy) . We had a busy day with him on Saturday he did lots of visiting with neighbors and of coarse I took him for a car ride to my sisters house .  You were right ,when he gets into the car and rides he goes to sleep. He did just fine on Friday after his flight, we made 3 stops to let him stretch his legs and walk some. The people at the airport fell in love with him, they thought he was the prettiest beagle they had ever seen. They told us there were 4 other cats and dogs on the flight with Bentley. I hope you all had lots of fun at the dog show and had a good trip back home. Oh one question, should Bentley eat 3 times a day or twice a day? Is that a half a cup of food at each serving? He will be going to the vet tomorrow for his visit. Have a great evening , we are in love with Bentley!!!!!! Thanks again, stay in touch and we will do the same. It is hard to believe his first birthday  is around the corner.Bentley is just as precious to us as the day we picked him up at the Atlanta airport.... He has grown and matured so much!!!! He is a ball of energy , we go for our morning walk around the neighborhood everyday, weather permitting , before I go to work . He loves to play a game when we walk with the other two ladies, I will stop with him on the leash I will count to three and then he will run on that leash to keep up with the other two ladies ahead of us, he will do this about five or six times during the walk. It is so funny to watch him do this. When he is ready to play he certainly will let you know it, he has also learned to play, catch and bring back the Frisbee. He play's this game in the evening every night. He will go get the frisbee off the top of the crate and bring it to you drop it at your feet and run to the door ready to go out and play... Every Saturday or Sunday I take Bentley over to my sisters house for a play date with her bulldog " Lexie" they play till they wear themselves out. Bentley really loves her cousin Lexie. Bentley will pout all the way home after we leave my sisters. My sister says Lexie pouts as well when Bentley leaves to go home, its funny to see these dogs expressions. As you can see Bentley is a very busy boy. He still loves to go to Lowe's and Home Depot with Tim, he also loves to go to the bank and CVS pharmacy's drive in windows because they have treats for him. The mail man also leaves him a treat in the mailbox every day as the mail is delivered. Is he not spoiled?? Why of coarse he is !!! And it is well deserved, Bentley has exceeded all of our expectations and more in our lives, It 's a love we have given to him and a love beyond that he has given back to us that is unbelievable. Thanks again to you for the best dog any one could ask for and it is owed to you all that made it possible to have a wonderful, smart and most of all loving puppy that has now grown up and still is the highlight, joy and most of all the Love of our lives....... I would recommend a <GEM> Beagle to any one!!!!!
