On 26 April we drove over to Roseburg to see Aiden.  Everything was great, but after we left, he was examined and found to have a heart murmer.   Aiden and his mom were flown to Dornbeckers Children Hospital / OHSU in Portland where they ran tests on his heart and found he had very rare forms of Aortic Atresia/Ventricular Septal Defect.  On Wednesday, April 30th, he had OPEN HEART surgery.

It has been a very emotional month for us with a couple of setbacks, but great news, on May 29 he was brought home.  As you can imagine his medical expenses (surgeries, a month in intensive care, medications, etc.) have piled up.  If you would like to help, on the blog is a place where you can make a donation.  Everything will help, thank you.  Gary & Carolyn Miller
